Innovative:

We don’t just respond to changes—we lead the way. We were one of the first to venture into collaborative office spaces with Industry, venture into new territory in Denver’s RiNo district, and explore the health incubator concept.

agile
Agile:

We embraced the change and evolution of how new generations work. For each new commercial development, we learn and evolve our practices and approach allowing us to innovate every step of the way.

Our commercial real estate projects make stronger communities.

For Koelbel and Company, we have a specific measure of success when it comes to our commercial real estate development projects: they will first and foremost improve the community in which they are placed. Whether that success is measured in providing needed services, homes, or places to work, it’s our belief that economic success will follow if the project is focused on meeting the needs of its residents and tenants as well as the community in which it’s located.

Next Gen Spaces

After Koelbel was founded in 1952 it didn’t take long before we started broadening our horizons and looking beyond just residential real estate. Recently, Koelbel has taken on a number of future-forward developments that raise the bar for what commercial spaces can mean to stakeholders and visitors alike.

Catalyst HTI was a revolutionary concept in the world of commercial development. As an ‘Industry Integrator’ it brought together companies from single person start-ups to large publicly traded companies in a single building to create a community of people and companies driven to improve health care.

Current projects like UNMC and Biodesix continue to push the space by using technology, architecture, and planning, to create the best possible environment for the people using the spaces to do great work.

High Security Facilities

Part of Koelbel’s success has stemmed from our keen eye for upcoming real estate trends, allowing us to adapt to embrace the ever-changing demands of the market. Colorado has a long history of military and defense work conducted in the state. Utilizing our 70 years of experience, Koelbel is entering the space to make strategic improvements to what has traditionally been a stagnant industry in terms of real estate development.

Working with DeNOVO Solutions, Koelbel is developing a secure facility with a novel approach. We’re refreshing the industry by shouldering the burden of complicated and expensive certifications, making it easier and more approachable for tenants while simultaneously introducing amenities to the industry for the first time. These changes will enable the people using the spaces to do their important work in an optimal environment.
